The Be Boppers Method Book volume I with CD
By Wendell Harrison

Available for all Instruments
(Concert key, B flat, E flat and bass instruments)
The exercises in this book were developed by internationally acclaimed Jazz artists and several other skilled Be Bop musicians in the 1950's and 60’s. The studies were subsequently revised by virtuoso Wendell Harrison in 1985. The Be Boppers Method book will aid the student in establishing phrasing ability, feeling and technique. In developing these skills, the student will develop the ability to improvise in the Be Bo idiom, like jazz greats Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillispie, Bud Powell, Thelonis Monk, Clifford Brown and others.

These exercises establish the Bebop concept in a short period of time; you need not work for years to gain a player's knowledge of bebop.
